The basics here include the entire subcutaneous interface.

The long needle delivers a short tube into the skin, which connects to a plastic piece.

This plastic piece stays adhered to the body for up to three days.  Attached to my body, I refer to it as a "site."

The needle which inserts the tube has to be disposed of as hazardous medical waste.  They build up fast.

There's not much to say. I ceaselessly consume medical supplies to live. They are all meticulously designed.
